The following terms apply to all reservations made with United Car Rental at our San Juan (SJU), Ponce (PSE), and Aguadilla (BQN) airport locations. Please review carefully before completing your booking.
Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the primary renter. Additional drivers — $5.95/day.
Customers needing to return outside of normal business hours have two options. Option 1: you can leave the car in the United Car Rental lot and place the keys in the glove box. You then can Uber to the airport (customer responsible for Uber fee). Option 2: you can leave the car at the airport in level M; place the ticket stub and keys in the glove box. The customer will be billed $50 for this option. Check with the local agent for more details.
Renter and additional drivers must be 21 years of age or older. Fees will apply for drivers under the age of 25.
We have shuttle service to and from the airport. Call 787-791-1160 for shuttle on arrival.
Hours of operation are from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday.
72-hour advance cancellation required to avoid a $50.00 cancellation and/or no-show fee.
Debit cards accepted. Our MLI and CDW with a $500.00 deductible is mandatory. A $300.00 deposit plus prepayment of rental is required.

Such as child seat, Wi-Fi, and GPS can be purchased upon pick-up of the vehicle.
All vehicles are rented with a full tank of gas.
We will honor all reservations for two hours after the time of pick-up. High Season: due to high demand during high season, a strict one-hour grace period applies for reservation arrivals. There will be a $50.00 charge for all no-show reservations.
Proof of coverage is mandatory at the time of rental if declining our coverage. If no proof of coverage is provided at the time of rental, our CDW and MLI is mandatory. CDW — $19.95 per day with a $500.00 deductible, or $29.95 per day with a $0 deductible. MLI — $15.00 per day.
There will be a $50.00 charge for all no-show reservations.
Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards accepted.
There will be no refunds on early returns.
When accepting our coverage, a $300.00 deposit plus the amount of rental will be held on the credit card at the time of rental. Without accepting our coverage, a $500.00 deposit plus the amount of rental will be held on the credit card at the time of rental.
Please note that there is no United Car Rental branch located at the airport. A branded United Car Rental van will wait for you outside the terminal building to shuttle you to our United Car Rental branch, located approximately 2 miles away. Thank you for booking with United Car Rental.
